Bodies or Joints have certain properties which are visible such as name, shape, color, etc and some are invisible like mass, velocity, friction, etc.

You can change them from the Properties Panel which can be accessed by clicking on Settings icon and then selecting Property Table icon from the sub-toolbar as shown below.

And here's a brief demonstration on how to edit these properties for a body and a joint.
