Wind Peak Shaving refers to a exceptional production of wind farms. According to information of the WEB (Austria) if the windpark produces more than 40% of the maximum production, the energy can be provided to the grid with a lower CO2-factor and also lower price. In the PEExcel this is simulated by using a CO2-Factor of zero. The economic part is not calculated in the PEExcel and therefore not necessary.
