Installing Packages From The openSUSE Build Service
The openSUSE Build Service is a great resource for finding packages that are not available in the default repos. I recommend using a wrapper script I have created, zyp, to install packages from the OBS. If you prefer a GUI tool for doing this, I've also created osc-easy-install which uses zenity to provide a GUI for installing packages from the OBS.
Discord Packages
Unfortunately, due to more licensing issues, openSUSE cannot package Discord with the libffmpeg.so included in Discord's package upstream. openSUSE replaces libffmpeg.so with a version that does not work for playing notification sounds and some other sounds in Discord.
To work around this, I have created a package for Discord and Discord Canary that installs the tar to /opt and installs all of Discord's dependencies. If you are using zyp from above, just run zyp in -O discord-installer or zyp in -O discord-canary-installer. If you are using osc-easy-install, just search for discord-installer or discord-canary-installer. Otherwise, you can just use the 1 Click Install links below:
