The Data Inspector is a tool that enables the user performing eye movement analysis to traverse the data trial-by-trial and inspect the detection quality of the saccades and blinks found by the algorithm. Additionally, it is possible to manually alter the detection, by cancelling false findings, adding missed saccades, marking segments as blinks, and rejecting entire segments. To ensure integrity, the trials are unlabelled and displayed in a randomized order regardless of their order of appearance in the data or the order of inputted conditions.

In order to run a data inspection, tick the 'Perform Data Inspection' checkbox in the eye movement analysis dialogue.

The Data Inspector consists of two data panels and a control panel.
