Modelling

1. Sketch Tab: Choose a plane and draw a 2D sketch of the part you want to create. Use the smart dimension tool to set dimensions.
2. Features Tab: This tab has options to extrude, cut etc so as to convert the 2D sketch into a 3D object.

Tips

1. Dragging from left only selects objects that are fully selected while dragging from the right selects even partially selected parts.
