Aurorianite, Crystalline, and Umbra tools all have the same base stats; but each one has a special ability that distinguishes them from the others. Each one can be converted to scrap of their type, which can then be used to make ingot versions of each one. (9 scrap per ingot)
They are primarily found in the various dungeons, but you can craft them in a Moonlight Forge.
None of them have support for Tinker's Construct.
Abilities
Aurorianite:
- Sword - Right-click to levitate everything nearby. 30 second cooldown.
- Pickaxe - Mine faster after mining ores
- Axe - Chop down an entire tree at once
Crystalline:
- Sword - Charges up when right-click is held, shoots out an energy beam. Takes ~2 seconds to charge. Uses 1 durability.
- Pickaxe - When mining ores, they will drop ingots instead of their ore, and have a chance to drop nuggets.
- Shield - When an attack is blocked, 1 durability point will be restored to whatever item is in your main hand
Umbra:
- Sword - Gives the following effects for 5 seconds when right-clicked: Absorption, Weakness, Slowness II, and Resistance III. Uses 20 durability, has a 45 second cooldown.
- Pickaxe - Select a block for 50 durability. When you mine that block, it will be mined at twice the speed.
- Shield - Right-click to spew flames from the shield, lighting anyone it touches ablaze. Lasts for up to 5 seconds, at which point the shield will go on cooldown for 5 seconds.
