/repeat add <id> <minutes> <message>

  • id: A unique identifier for this repeated message (unique per server)
  • minutes: How often to repeat the message (in minutes)
  • message: The text to repeat (does not ping)

Example:

/repeat add minutes:5 id:outage message:PS is currently down

Description

Summary: Repeats a message on an interval.

This command has Chatot repeat the provided message in the channel this command is run in on the specified interval. You can specify any length of time (in minutes) between 1 minute and ~1 day. The id you provide must be unique within the server; this id is what you will use to manage this repeated message. There is no restriction on the number of repeated messages you can have running at each time. Each channel must be set up separately if you wish to repeat the same message in multiple channels (this is to provide you with flexibilty to specify the interval appropriate for the target channel).

Upon running this command, Chatot will immediately send your message to the interaction channel, then once every minutes. Although mentions within your message may render in your client to link to a person's profile/role, the text does not ping them.
