gmodlog - shinyfinder/chatot-smogon GitHub Wiki
Availability: All Guilds
/gmodlog <user> [broadcast]
-
user: Username (id) of the person to look up -
broadcast: Whether the output should be visible only to everyone. Default: False
Example:
/gmodlog user:123456
- Chatot: None
- Users: Ban Members, Smogon forums mod+ (requires a Discord-forum connection with /verify)
Summary: Posts a list of moderation actions against a specified user within directory servers.
Moderation actions taken against the user are retrieved from database and sent in an embed with their relative timestamps (desktop users may hover over the timestamp to see the full datetime) and any audit log information provided at the time. Logged actions are:
- Ban / Unban
- Kick
- Timeout / Untimeout
Only actions taken in Smogon directory servers are provided. By default, the output of this command is ephemeral (only visible to the user who ran it). Passing True to the optional broadcast field makes the output non-ephemeral (visible to everyone in the channel). The output is organized into categories that take the following order:
- Combined -- actions across all applicable servers
- Global -- any global actions (i.e. gban, gkick)
- Server-specific -- actions per server
Each category is considered a "group" and each group can have several "pages" if there are many entries within it. Only the person who ran the command is able to navigate the groups/pages by pressing the respective buttons provided in the output (even if the response is non-ephemeral). Actions are ordered newest to oldest, and the order of server groups roughly follows the Discord directory.
Although this command is available in any server Chatot has been added to, it will only output the logs if the initiator has connected a forum account to their Discord (see: /verify) and is a Moderator, Community Leader, and/or Senior Staff member. These forum requirements are on top of the default Discord requirements of having the Ban Members permission within the server and cannot be changed.
If you are looking for the logs within your server only, see /modlog.
