Usage

Availability: All Guilds

/games kunc [gen] [format] [firstto]

  • gen (Optional): The gen to query. Default: latest available.
  • format (Optional): The format to query. Default: random.
  • firstto (Optional): The first player to get this score wins. Default: 1.

Description

Summary: Starts a game of kunc.

Players are given 4 moves from a random SmogDex set in the specified gen and/or format, otherwise the latest-available gen and a random format. Players then have 5 minutes to try to be the first one to guess the name of the Pokemon in the chat.

This game also supports format groups, namely Standards, OMs, and NatDex, which narrow the randomly-selected format to certain ones. Standards are the largest formats, such as OU, Uber, Monotype, Doubles, VGC, BSS, etc.

By default, the latest available gen is used. While for most mons this may be the current gen, it could be an earlier one if they do not have a new analyses uploaded or if the format is only available in older gens. Additional gen options are Random and Weighted Random. Random randomly selects a gen with equal probability across all of the available gens, and Weighted Random randomly selects a gen with decreasing probability of older gens.

The game initiator may skip the round by saying "we give up." The initiator and those with Manage Server permissions may cancel the game with "cancel game". By setting a firstto score, the game will autoplay with the same selections until the score is reached, or until 5 failures in a row occur (timeouts or skips).
