5: Make another Small Change We removed the explicit version for assertj.

What will happen if we remove assertj entirely?

Make a Small change, take 2.

Open pom.xml and delete completely the assertj dependency.

So, what did this do to our project?

Check the dependency tree.

You can now check the Maven Dependency tree output to verify assertj-core is still present.

NOTE: In this case we're not trying to limit the output, we want to see the whole tree.

[~/exercises] $ ./mvnw dependency:tree Search the output for the section org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-test:jar:2.7.14:test.

It shows all the transitive dependencies managed by the spring-boot-starter-test dependency.

As long as everything compiles, we don't need to maintain assertj at all.
