Use Vim

To execuste commands for all files in the argument list, use :argdo.

This example uses a substitute with :argdo. g for global and e for ignoring errors which would be displayed for files with no matches, and combined with update all files.

:argdo %s/this/that/ge | update

Use bufdo for buffers and windo for windows.
