Code of Conduct
We are committed to cultivating a space of care, consent, and collective belonging.
The Cognitive Ecology Assessment is grounded in trauma-informed practice and is designed by and for disabled, neurodivergent, and marginalized communities. We want this project to feel like a sanctuary for honest contribution, curiosity, and repair.
💞 We Welcome
- People of all neurotypes, bodyminds, backgrounds, and abilities
- Contributions made slowly, messily, or nonlinearly
- Respect for diverse communication styles, capacities, and pacing
- Accountability approached with compassion and context
- Feedback that centers clarity and collaboration, not control
🚫 We Do Not Tolerate
- Harassment, gaslighting, or tone policing
- Dismissal of lived experience, especially from marginalized contributors
- Exploitation of emotional labor or unpaid intellectual contributions
- White saviorism, performative allyship, or hierarchical power plays
- Behavior that centers urgency, perfectionism, or domination
📩 Reporting and Repair
If harm occurs or safety is compromised, you can contact us directly at [email protected]. We are committed to engaging in a process that honors boundaries, supports nervous system regulation, and invites repair when possible.
This is a sacred space. Please treat it—and the people within it—with care.
With gratitude,
The Compassion Collective
