Rating flow / 评分流程

1. The content script reads title information that a streaming page exposes, such as a title, year, media type, or a platform catalog ID.

2. Douban is queried directly from the user’s browser. Wikidata can help disambiguate titles across languages.

3. IMDb is read from a local index only after the user explicitly downloads IMDb’s ratings dataset in the popup. Wikidata can resolve a reliable IMDb ID; the extension does not scrape IMDb pages.

4. The overlay shows each provider independently. A success from one provider does not wait for the other.

5. 内容脚本读取流媒体页面提供的片名、年份、影视类型或平台条目 ID。

6. 豆瓣由用户浏览器直接查询；Wikidata 可协助跨语言片名消歧。

7. IMDb仅在用户于弹窗主动下载官方 ratings 数据集后，从本机索引读取。Wikidata 可解析可靠 IMDb ID；插件不会抓取 IMDb 网页。

8. 两个来源独立显示；一个来源成功时无需等待另一个来源。

Loading modes / 加载模式

The popup’s Douban loading mode affects direct Douban requests only:

• Details only / 仅详情页加载 — queries Douban only on an individual title page.
• Browse: visible area / 首页局部加载 — the default; queries cards near the viewport.
• Browse: full page / 首页全自动加载 — processes cards already rendered by the platform in display order. It is slower for off-screen cards and may trigger platform protection mechanisms.

IMDb local reads are not gated by the Douban mode. Once local data and a reliable title mapping are available, IMDb can appear first.

弹窗的豆瓣加载模式只影响豆瓣直接请求。IMDb 本地读取不受该模式限制；已有本地数据和可靠片名映射时，IMDb 可优先显示。

Matching rules / 匹配规则

DouRate prefers a title plus year and media type. Browse cards sometimes expose only a title, so same-title works cannot always be distinguished. In that case the extension displays ? rather than guessing.

For Netflix, a title page that has matched reliably can cache the result under the same Netflix catalog ID for 15 days. The matching browse card can then reuse that result; it is never applied merely because another work has the same name.

DouRate 优先使用片名、年份和影视类型。浏览卡片有时只提供片名，同名作品无法总是可靠区分；此时会显示 ? 而不是猜测。

对 Netflix，详情页可靠匹配后会按同一 Netflix 条目 ID 缓存 15 天，匹配的浏览卡片可复用该结果；绝不会只因同名而套用评分。

Local cache and updates / 本机缓存与更新

Successful ratings and reliable mappings are cached locally for 15 days. Updating the same loaded extension folder through Chrome’s Update button preserves local settings, caches, and IMDb data. Removing the extension deletes that extension data.

成功评分和可靠映射会在本机缓存 15 天。通过 Chrome 的“更新”按钮更新同一已加载文件夹会保留设置、缓存和 IMDb 数据；移除插件会删除这些扩展数据。

Important limits / 重要限制

• Streaming sites can change their page structure; a card or title page may temporarily fail to be recognised.

• Douban can show a verification page or rate-limit requests. DouRate pauses new direct Douban lookups for about 30 minutes in that state; cached results can still appear.

• IMDb data is manually updated by the user, so it can be older than IMDb’s current site data.

• A ? means the extension did not obtain a reliable result; it is not a rating.

• 流媒体平台可能变更页面结构，卡片或详情页可能暂时无法识别。

• 豆瓣可能触发验证或限流。此时 DouRate 会暂停新的豆瓣直接查询约 30 分钟；已缓存结果仍可显示。

• IMDb 数据只由用户手动更新，因此可能落后于 IMDb 当前网站数据。

• ? 表示未获得可靠结果，不是评分。
