Do I need to log in to Douban? / 是否需要登录豆瓣？

No. DouRate does not ask for, read, or store a password or cookie value. A normal existing Douban browser session may be used by the browser for a direct request, but a login does not guarantee a result or bypass verification.

不需要。DouRate 不会索取、读取或存储密码或 Cookie 值。浏览器可能在直接请求中使用已有的正常豆瓣会话，但登录不保证有结果，也不会绕过验证。

Why is there a ?? / 为什么显示 ?？

It means the source did not return a reliable result. Common causes are ambiguous same-title works, missing card metadata, a missing IMDb local dataset, an IMDb title without a rating, a temporary network failure, or a paused Douban query. Hover over the mark for the provider-specific reason.

它表示该来源没有返回可靠结果。常见原因包括同名作品歧义、卡片缺少元数据、未下载 IMDb 本地数据、IMDb 条目无评分、临时网络问题，或豆瓣查询已暂停。悬浮问号可查看来源专属原因。

Why is a detail page correct but its card is not? / 为什么详情页正确而卡片不正确？

Detail pages more often expose a year and media type, while cards may expose only a title. Open the Netflix detail page once when available: a reliable result is then cached by the same Netflix catalog ID for 15 days and can be reused on its card.

详情页通常提供年份和影视类型，卡片可能只有片名。对 Netflix，可先打开一次详情页；可靠结果会按同一 Netflix 条目 ID 缓存 15 天并复用到卡片。

Does IMDb require a web request for every card? / IMDb 是否会为每张卡片访问网页？

No. IMDb ratings are read from the local index after a user-initiated dataset download. A first-time title may still require a Wikidata request to resolve a reliable IMDb ID.

不会。IMDb 评分来自用户主动下载后的本机索引。第一次遇到某片名时，仍可能需要一次 Wikidata 请求来解析可靠的 IMDb ID。

How do I keep my data when updating? / 更新时如何保留数据？

The Chrome Web Store version updates automatically and keeps its local data. Removing/uninstalling the extension clears that data. An earlier ZIP installed manually does not update: remove it at chrome://extensions, install from the Chrome Web Store, then download the IMDb data again from the popup.

商店版会自动更新，并保留本机数据；移除／卸载扩展会清除这些数据。之前用 ZIP 手动安装的版本不会自动更新：请在 chrome://extensions 移除它，再从 Chrome 应用商店 安装，然后在弹窗里重新下载一次 IMDb 数据。

Can I publish or commercialise it? / 可以公开发布或商业化吗？

Not with the current data approach. This project is a personal, non-commercial local prototype. Public or commercial use needs appropriate rights and a separately reviewed data strategy, especially for Douban and IMDb.

不能以当前数据方案直接公开发布或商业化。本项目是个人、非商业、本机原型。公开或商业使用需要取得相应权利，并重新审查数据方案，尤其是豆瓣与 IMDb。
