1. Do you currently use any financial planning tools (retirement, credit score, budgeting, investment, etc)? If so, which ones?
2. What are some of your primary financial concerns (retirement, budget, investment, home purchase, taxes)?
3. Do you have experience with Mint from Intuit or similar budgeting tool suite? If so, what do you like about it and what might you change?
4. Do you have experience with Fidelity or similar retirement broker accounts? If so, what do you like about it and what might you change?
5. Do you enjoy financial planning? Why or why not?

Scale Questions

The scale used will be 0 to 10, 0 being not at all and 10 being a great deal.

1. On a scale of 0 to 10 how much do you use financial software of any kind?
2. On a scale of 0 to 10 how much interest do you have in financial planning?
3. On a scale of 0 to 10 how important is long-term financial success to you?
4. On a scale of 0 to 10 how important is short-term financial stability to you?
5. On a scale of 0 to 10 how much do you trust advice from financial advisors?
6. On a scale of 0 to 10 how much do you trust advice from automated financial services?

Quantitative Questions

1. How often do you use financial calculators? What types of calculators do you use?
2. Besides banking/credit card apps, how many finance-related apps or services do you use? How often do you use them?
