Dell OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) is a software agent that provides a comprehensive, one-to-one systems management solution for Dell servers in two ways:

• Web browser-based graphical user interface (GUI)
• Command Line Interface (CLI) through the operating system (omreport / omconfig).

OMSA, DTK & IPMI tools offer somewhat overlapping functionalities. One should choose the best tool for each specific task.

OMSA can be downloaded from OMSA v8.2 Download; or it can be installed from the Dell Linux Repository (see Dell OpenManage).
