  • Biomedical Informatics: Computer Applications in Health Care and Biomedicine, edited by Edward H. Shortliffe and James J. Cimino. 4th ed. (Recommended but not required)
    • This text is suitable for students who are technically inclined or are interested in a deeper dive into Biomedical Informatics
  • Contemporary Health Informatics 1st Edition by Mark L. Braunstein (Recommended but not required)
    • This text is suitable for students who are not technically inclined or are only interested in broad introduction to the field.
  • Other lecture notes will be provided by instructors.

Notes

  • You must notify the instructors if you are unable to attend a lecture
  • Assignments must be submitted individually unless they are assigned as group projects. Group discussions are allowed; however, your work must be original. Apparent copies from any source, including your colleagues and internet sites, will be referred to the Emory Honor Council.
