For our future goal we wish to finish the game with at least two mode of game play. In addition to the regular dialogue required and investigation to obtain any additional evidence, the second mode will be the interrogation in which the player must use deductive reasoning and present the evidence they collected to create additional routes or information to appear. In addition to the area that is already done, there is several more additional area with evidences and witnesses, including the blacksmith, the general store and the church. These area will also have extra dialogue that varies depending on which area you visit first or changes that are caused by information. As of now the evidence list is short, so we want to expand on the item and usage of inventory as the game progresses.
Besides finishing the code itself we also wish to implement music to the menu theme or variation of the same song with different tempo based on whether the game has reached a high or low point. We also will implement three LED that will turn on based on how well the player is interrogating the suspect or witness with green being, not so well, yellow being the suspect or witness is on edge or showing suspicious behavior/withheld evidence and last with red indicating that the suspect or witness is starting to become fluster and displays contradictions and inconsistency.
