Submission Update Package

A Submission Update adds products to the Conformant Products List of a previous successful Submission. A submission update package is identical to a submission package (see above), except that the .tgz file contains only a Conformant Products List. The new Conformant Products List should include all of the entries from the List in the previous submission, as well as the new products.

Adopters are not required to use the Update process. That is, it is permissible to make new submissions for products that could have been claimed as Conformant Products relative to a previous successful submission.
