Strengthen the limp hands and steady the feeble knees!

Behold, you have instructed many, and you would strengthen the hands of the weak

And from the days of John the Immerser until now, the kingdom of the heavens suffers violence, and violent men seize it by force

Stand up like a man, and brace yourself

By pressing on them, indeed, he is drawing you away from distress

Dancing

Come back! Come back, young woman from Shulam! Come back! Come back so that we may look at you! Why do you look at me, the young woman from Shulam, as you look at the dance of Mahanaim?

Dancing for two army camps

How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word. With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.

Walking

And do not walk upon the earth exultantly

And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them, they say peace

The house of Israel has surrounded me with deceit. But Judah still walks with God

Who walks on the wings of the wind

He is the One who has made the earth submissive for you, so walk on its shoulders, and eat out of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection.

And be moderate in your walk, and tone down your voice; surely the most repugnant of voices is indeed that of the asses.

It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that

Appetite Control

gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

And if you [must] turn away from the needy awaiting mercy from your Lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word.

O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent.

Your rich commerce led you to violence, and you sinned

save the needy from the sword of their mouth, and the poor from the hand of the violent

Indeed, those who unjustly consume orphans' wealth in fact consume nothing but fire into their bellies. And they will be burned in a blazing Hell!

those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines

Every time they want to get out of Hellfire from anguish, they will be returned to it

A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in His holy habitation

They fulfill vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread. And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive

their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [from Him]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire

If you refuse to testify in court about something you saw or know has happened, you have sinned and can be punished

inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.

And whoever remains safe from his own greediness, it is such that will prosper.

He has only forbidden you carrion, blood, pig's meat, and animals over which any name other than God's has been invoked. But if anyone is forced to eat such things by hunger, rather than desire or excess, he commits no sin: God is most merciful and forgiving.

And whoever commits a good deed - We will increase for him good therein. Indeed,

Say, "O people of the Book, be not excessive in your faith unjustly, and do not follow the desires of a people who already went astray, misled many and lost the right path.

Have you seen he who has taken as his god his desire

eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.

We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.

And you do not urge one another on (offering) food to the indigent. And you eat the heritage with indiscriminate eating, And you love wealth with an ardent love

Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.

Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.

And no one misguided us except the criminals.

They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children.

So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers

If you ridicule us, then we will ridicule you just as you ridicule.

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? For that is the one who drives away the orphan

And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend.

entice the Israelites

But you do not honor the orphan. And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.

Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs. For those their refuge will be the Fire because of what they used to earn.

their breaking of the covenant and their disbelief in the signs

weighed on the scales and found lacking

The weighing on that Day will be just. As for those whose scale will be heavy with good deeds, only they will be successful. But those whose scale is light, they have doomed themselves for wrongfully denying Our signs

He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."

Every person will reap only what they sowed

Yeshua said to them, My personal food is that I do the will of Him who has sent Me and finish His work

If thou abandon thyself to mirth, and stretch forth thine hand in a quarrel, thou shalt be disgraced.

Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright, and he is gracious to that person and says to God, "Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them—let their flesh be renewed like a child's; let them be restored as in the days of their youth"—then that person can pray to God and find favor with Him

the word God spoke through angels became binding, so that every violation and act of disobedience received its just deserts

Nutrition

Clearly, I have no help in myself; common sense has been driven from me

Better to eat vegetables with people you love than to eat the finest meat where there is hate

Please! Try an experiment on your servants — for ten days have them give us only vegetables to eat and water to drink.

Do not make unlawful the wholesome things which God has made lawful for you

I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts

I myself will teach your people and give them prosperity and peace

The mandrakes have given a fragrance, and all our fruits, new ones and old ones, my beloved, I have kept for you upon our gates

Why do you spend money on what is not food, and your wages on what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and you will enjoy the choicest of foods.

Do not treat him harshly, but fear your God.

O mankind, fear your Lord.

mankind was created weak.

If you are wanting worldly life and its attraction, then come on! I'll let you enjoy them and dismiss you in a handsome fashion.

show me what they have created from the earth

Through that water I then created gardens for you, the like of palms and grapevines. You have fruits of varying colours and appearance that grow within them, like figs, pomegranates and apples, of which you eat

The waters nourished it, deep springs made it grow tall; their streams flowed all around its base and sent their channels to all the trees of the field.

So We have brought into being for you therewith gardens of palms and vineyards; in them you have many fruits for you, and of them you eat. And a tree that comes out (Literally: goes out) from At-Tûr of Sayna (Mount Sinai) that grows fats (i.e., oil) and seasoning for (the) eaters.

And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, all together from Him. Surely in that are signs for a people who meditate.

Man should reflect on what he was created from. He is created of spouting water emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.

Another of His signs is this: you see the earth lying desolate, but when We send water down on to it, it stirs and grows. He who gives it life will certainly give life to the dead. He has power over everything.

Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you from the right way. It is good to receive inner strength from God's grace, and not by obeying rules about foods; those who obey these rules have not been helped by them.

A wise man shall not boast in his wisdom, and the mighty man shall not boast in his might, neither shall the rich man boast in his wealth

For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is cruel as Sheol; The flashes thereof are flashes of fire, A very flame of Jehovah

If she is a wall, we will build towers of silver on her. If she is a door, we will enclose her with panels of cedar

Who can withstand jealousy?

Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead?

But whoever overlooks from his brother anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him with good conduct. This is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. But whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment.

Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves after the truth has become clear to them.

Or do they envy people

I wish you were either one or the other

how I wish you would listen to me!

Go, and I wish you well.

O God, how I wish you would kill the wicked!

I wish you would keep silent

I wish you peace and prosperity.

Oh, how I wish you would kiss me passionately

Who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare

And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves.

burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.

are by debt burdened down?

Youth

You have abandoned your first love

Let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth

Do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth

Remember the days of your youth

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth

Rejoice in the wife of your youth

Hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent

Grey

But Pharaoh disobeyed the Messenger, so we seized him with a ruinous seizure Then how can you fear, if you disbelieve, a Day that will make the children white-haired?

Surely my bones have become brittle, and grey hair has spread across my head, but I have never been disappointed in my prayer to You, my Lord!

Also another phenomenon I saw in regard to the lightnings: how some of the stars arise and become lightnings and cannot part with their new form.

A crown of beauty are grey hairs, In the way of righteousness it is found.

Do not swear by your head, for you cannot make a single hair white or black.

Planning

And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

You provide a broad path for my feet

You are to differentiate between what's sacred and common

And when he had attained full strength, We brought him wise judgment and knowledge, for thus do We repay those who excel in doing good.

The hypocrites, both men and women, are all the same: they order what is wrong and forbid what is right; they are tight-fisted. They have ignored God, so He has ignored them. The hypocrites are the disobedient ones.

Oh, I wish I had been with them so I could have attained a great attainment.

My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.

My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me

you would certainly have recognized them by their marks and most certainly you can recognize them by the intent of (their) speech

a changeable man does not reign

the changeable of heart shall be consumed, and they will not wail in passion

you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right

The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass

For whatever sign We change or eliminate or cause to recede into oblivion, We bring forth a better sign, one that is identical. Do you not know that God has power over all things?

over all things, a Keeper.

You shall not give me anything. If you will do this thing for me, I will again feed your flock and keep it.

God requireth that which is past.

Look at all who are proud, and bring them down

When they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled

We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play

Grooming

Those people love a fleeting show, and leave a heavy day behind them. We too have created them and strengthened their sinews. Whenever We wish, We will replace them with others like them in exchange.

On the seventh day they must shave off all their hair

Myrrh and Cassia and Storax make all your garments fragrant from The Excellent Temple, and from my presence they have gladdened you

When the day's cool breeze comes up and the shadows lengthen, I will get myself to the mountain of myrrh, to the hill of frankincense

And make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer. It is to be salted and pure and sacred

You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

We repaid them for their injustice. And indeed, We are truthful.

Stretching

He crouches down and stretches like a lion; like a lioness, who dares to provoke him?

when he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues therein

He will bend his back to the burden

they prostrated

they prostrated themselves and did Him homage

Then he said, "Blessed be that man by God." And they bowed and prostrated themselves.

And seeing them, he rose up and went to meet them: and worshipped prostrate to the ground

For The Spirit is God, and it is fitting that those who worship him worship in The Spirit and in The Truth.

And you laugh and do not weep. While you are proudly sporting? So prostrate

And the man bowed his head, and prostrated himself before the LORD.

for you do not bow yourselves to another god—for YHWH, whose Name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.

Zeal for Your house

And recall when We located the House for Abraham: “Do not associate anything with Me, and cleanse My House for the circumambulators and those who stand to pray and those who kneel and prostrate.

Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone.

Surely We have made on their necks shackles, so they are up to the chins, so they are stiff-necked. And We have made before them (Literally: between their hands) a barrier and behind them a barrier, then We enveloped them, so they do not behold (the Truth).

Cardio

March forth, whether you are light (being healthy, young and wealthy) or heavy (being ill, old and poor), and strive hard with your wealth and your lives in the Cause

Enactments (Reward for good or punishment for evil) have already passed away before you; so travel in the earth, then look into how was the end of the beliers. This is an evidence for mankind and a guidance and an admonition for the pious. And do not feel feeble nor grieve; and you are the most exalted in case you are believers.

Come away quickly, my beloved. Run like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices.

They were experts with shields and spears, as fierce looking as lions and as quick as mountain deer

It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness

their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness

Your thighs shelter a paradise of pomegranates with rare spices — henna with nard

Strike your foot to the ground

Moderation

For regulating the human (in our constitution) and rendering the (proper) service to the heavenly, there is nothing like moderation. It is only by this moderation that there is effected an early return (to man's normal state).

And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community

And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate

Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds

He who has done an atom's weight of good will receive his rewards, and he who has done an atom's weight of evil will receive his punishments.

We touch with Our mercy whom We will, and We do not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.

But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

the outcome of patience is ease and reward

a soft tongue breaks the bone

For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned.

He that spares his words knows knowledge, and a patient man is wise.

I have been silent: shall I also always be silent and forbear: I have endured like a travailing woman: I will now amaze

Love

Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves

do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself.

my advice will not benefit you - although I wished to advise you

How we wish we had obeyed

Let thy fountain of water be truly thine own; and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let thy loving hart and thy graceful colt company with thee, and let her be considered thine own, and be with thee at all times; for ravished with her love thou shalt be greatly increased.

He treated Abram well because of her, and Abram acquired flocks and herds, male and female donkeys, male and female slaves, and camels.

And the sons of the Elohim saw the daughters of the adam that they were good

nor [is it] for you to exchange them

Humility

if you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses?

Race toward forgiveness

I wish my people could know Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored.

Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?

Although I trained and strengthened their arms, they plot evil against Me. They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall

What will you say when He sets over you close allies whom you yourself trained? Will not pangs of anguish grip you, as they do a woman in labor

It is God who creates you weak, then gives you strength, then weakness after strength, together with your grey hair

Because of rebellion, the LORD's people and the daily sacrifice were given over to it.

offer sacrifices day after day

Which is more important? the sacrifice? or the altar which makes the sacrifice holy?

If I have to let him taste from Me health, riches and well-being after difficulty and sickness that afflicted him he will certainly say: This is mine, because I am worthy and deserving of it. I do not think the hour will take place. If it is assumed that the hour will take place then I will have the very best

God rescues the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.

Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

The only people who(truly) believe in Our signs are those who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrating and highly exalt their Lord with praise, and they are not arrogant.

to the right and to the left, prostrating

And it is God who has given you spouses from amongst yourselves and through them He has given you children and grandchildren and provided you with good things. How can they believe in falsehood and deny God's blessings?

Does an axe raise itself above the one who swings it? Does a saw boast over him who saws with it? It would be like a rod waving the one who lifts it, or a staff lifting him who is not wood!

who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees

But -- in this let the boaster boast himself, In understanding and knowing Me, For I am

For he was looking for The City which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God

Mankind, what has lured you away from God, your generous Lord, who created you, shaped you, proportioned you, in whatever form He chose?

he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.

When she realized that she waited in vain, her hope was lost. She took another of her cubs and made him a young lion.

Consider the works of God, that no man can correct whom he hath despised

Whatever things you have been given for the life of this world are merely temporary gratification and vanity: that which is with God is better and more lasting - will you not use your reason?

So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name

And eat not up your property among yourselves in vanity, nor seek by it to gain the hearing of the judges that ye may knowingly devour a portion of the property of others wrongfully.

Surely the present life (Literally: the lowly life, i.e., the life of this world) is only playing and diversion; and in case you believe and be pious, He will bring you your rewards and will not ask of you your riches. In case He asks you for them, and so importune you, you would be miserly, and He would bring out your malice.

in malice be children, and in sense be perfect

And you will see every community kneeling down. Every community will be called to its Book (of record). Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.

A merciful man is long-suffering

Whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky.

Legacy

But they that are learned shall shine as the brightness of the firmament: and they that instruct many to justice, as stars for all eternity

Your words have supported those who stumbled; you have strengthened faltering knees.

Whoever works righteousness - whether male or female - while he (or she) is a true believer verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do.

And what will explain to thee the path that is steep? (It is:) freeing the bondman; Or the giving of food in a day of privation to the orphan with claims of relationship, or to the indigent (down) in the dust.

He who sets me at naught and does not receive my teachings is not left without a judge: the Message which I have spoken will judge him on the last day.

give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.

Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.

Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger

So whoever will see does so for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever is blind [does harm] against it. And [say], "I am not a guardian over you."

Like a stopped up fountain and a stream of sewage, so is a righteous one that falls down before an evil one.

Because you have let slip from your hand the man I had devoted to destruction, your life will be exchanged for his life, and your people for his people

do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good

Do not be afraid; from now on, you will be catching men for salvation.

Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction]

Charity

Among you are those who truly deserve benefaction; they have been restrained from earning their livelihood because they participated in the war of belief against unbelief

All warfare is based on deception.

godless men should not rule or lay snares for the people.

lay down his neshamah for his chaverim

Whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase

Whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it

Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury

Whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him

The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day;

they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.

Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe, And those who guard their private parts, Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed, But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors

And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive, And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer, They will be in gardens, honored.

Do not pick out worthless things for donation, which you yourselves would only accept with closed eyes.

Those who want to come with me must say no to the things they want, pick up

You will never achieve righteousness until you donate some of what you cherish.

And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew.

I was eyes for the blind, I was feet for the lame, I was a father to the needy, and I investigated the problems of those I didn't know. I broke the jaws of the unrighteous and snatched the prey from his teeth.

One day Elisha went to Shunem, where a rich woman lived. She invited him to a meal, and from then on every time he went to Shunem he would have his meals at her house.

what is the difficult pass? It is the freeing of a slave

Rest

Keep awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede

Remember when He gave you sleep as a reassurance from Him, and sent down water from the sky to cleanse you, to remove Satan's pollution from you, to make your hearts strong and your feet firm.

Those who will rise early and are late to sit down eating bread, in sorrows, are worthless

And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless

You have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged. [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world

Of course, every house is built by someone, and God is really the one who built everything.

One hand full of rest is better than two fists full of labor and striving after wind.

Tomorrow will worry about itself

Don't be frightened by your thoughts or allow your facial expression to show it.

Laziness

they come not to prayer except while they are lazy

Cursed is the one who is remiss in doing the work

The lazy hunter doesn't roast his game, but to a diligent person, his wealth is precious

they do not spend except while they are unwilling

Some people are too lazy to fix a leaky roof — then the house collapses.

And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively.

Why are ye indolent

How long are you indolent and slack

who withholds his sword from bloodshed

who will not use reason

we will not withhold the testimony

the pleasure — taking and indolent shall be in want

Do not be indolent when zeal is required

They all are disappointed with a people that doesn't help them, who give no assistance and no advantage, only disappointment and disgrace.

So woe to those who pray [But] who are heedless of their prayer Those who make show [of their deeds] And withhold [simple] assistance.

Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.

Woe to him who says to wood, Come to life! ' Or to lifeless stone, Wake up!

Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!

Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots

Woe to the one who says to a father, ‘What have you begotten?’ or to a mother, ‘What have you brought to birth?’

Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his own people work for nothing, not paying them for their labor.

Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by injustice!

Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and makes himself wealthy by extortion!

Woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up

Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh

It would be to his advantage that he have a millstone hung around his neck and he be thrown into the sea, rather than that he ensnare one of these little ones.

What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?

you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval

These men are filthy spots at your festive gatherings meant to foster love; they share your meals without qualm, while caring only for themselves.

However, these people insult anything they don't understand; and what they do understand naturally, without thinking, like animals — by these things they are destroyed!

The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you

These people are grumblers and complainers, they follow their evil passions, their mouths speak grandiosities, and they flatter others to gain advantage.

and the rumour of this having come, the multitude came together, and was confounded, because they were each one hearing them speaking in his proper dialect

those who follow passions want you to digress

So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.

Lust

The True men of old did not dream when they slept, had no anxiety when they awoke, and did not care that their food should be pleasant. Their breathing came deep and silently. The breathing of the true man comes (even) from his heels, while men generally breathe (only) from their throats. When men are defeated in argument, their words come from their gullets as if they were vomiting. Where lusts and desires are deep, the springs of the Heavenly are shallow

Beloved, I beg of you, as wayfarers and as foreigners, depart from all these desires of the body that make war against the soul,

It wants to rule you, but you must overcome it.

These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits

kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom

no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing

I have made a covenant with my eyes not to let them lust

So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard.

Tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.

I will arouse in them

They are grown gross and fat

I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will destroy

Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.

And their prayer at the House was not except whistling and handclapping. So taste the punishment for what you disbelieved.

Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment

I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful

And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful.

And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.

We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness — that is best.

O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and possession that will not deteriorate?

Do you play the prostitute after their abominations?

He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord

Though the lips of the forbidden woman drip honey and her speech is smoother than oil, in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a double-edged sword.

I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel

Discipline

He openeth also their ear to discipline

Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend anymore

Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

Behold, God exalteth by His power: who teacheth like him?

He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

Love is the art of dissolving your ego

By myself I can do nothing

I do nothing for my own pleasure

Do not stir up nor wake the love until she pleases

Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.

And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided.

I do not ask you for this message any payment

And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.

through painful toil you will eat food

We wish to eat from it and let our hearts be reassured and know that you have been truthful to us and be among its witnesses.

He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed.

For whom am I toiling and depriving myself of pleasure?

His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished

Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge

Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty

But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid.

Successful indeed are those who purify themselves, remember the Name of their Lord, and pray.

is there any who will remember?

Success is really attained by him who purifies it, and failure is really suffered by him who pollutes it

Surely what you are promised is indeed sincere

Yet they don’t ask, 'Where is God my Creator, the one who gives songs in the night?'

Men! The excesses you commit will be of harm only to yourselves

the love of most will grow cold

A muddied spring or a polluted well— that's what a righteous person is who compromises with the wicked.

The one that detests discipline hates his soul and the one that hears correction possesses wisdom

And this book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall be attending to it by night and by day, and you shall keep and you shall do all that is written in it, that you will prosper and you will be successful

I will be with your mouth and will teach you what to say

Though his face is covered with fat and his waistline bulges with flesh, he will dwell in ruined cities, in abandoned houses destined to become rubble.

A carpenter takes measurements; he marks out an outline of its form; he scrapes it with chisels, and marks it with a compass. He patterns it after the human form, like a well-built human being, and puts it in a shrine.

Do not commit adultery and guard your chastity. No doubt, whoever guards his chastity will certainly enter Paradise.

The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze, and your strength will equal your days

Wherever he directs him, he brings no good. Is he equal to one who commands justice, while he is on a straight path?

And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew

He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] – then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths.

The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering as an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat — the entire fat tail near the spine, the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs

But there is no blame upon you, if you are troubled by rain or are ill, for putting down your arms, but take precaution.

only hold positions that cannot be attacked.

Work according to your position; indeed, we are working.

I am working. And you are going to know who will have succession in the home.

Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.

My dove, my undefiled, is but one

life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb — [those] from which men and livestock eat — until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified and its people suppose that they have capability over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday.

As rain in a desert And dew on a thirsty land

The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves

do not offend

Suppose someone says to God, 'I have endured my punishment; I will offend no more. Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do it again.'

we don't want to offend them

blessed is the one who is not offended by me

These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended

Then is he whom We have promised a good promise which he will obtain like he for whom We provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]?

Nocturnal Skills

Each of them wears a sword. They are experts at fighting, even in the dark.

In the middle of the night I wake up to praise you for your righteous judgments.

Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and tongue] and more suitable for words.

From the mouths of babies and infants at the breast you established strength because of your foes

every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet

Creativity

Does man think that he will be left without purpose? Was he not a drop of emitted semen?

Who else will frustrate the tokens of those that have divining spirits, and prophecies from the heart of man? turning the wise back, and making their counsel foolishness

their killing of the prophets without right and their saying, "Our hearts are wrapped".

If the spirit of him that hath power, ascend upon thee, leave not thy place: because care will make the greatest sins to cease.

Do something to show you have really given up your sins.

Indeed, it is We Who created humankind and fully know what their souls whisper to them, and We are closer to them than their jugular vein

their souls confined them

Indeed, man transgresses because he sees himself self-sufficient.

And do not follow the command of the transgressors, who spread corruption throughout the land, never setting things right

And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

They do not observe toward a believer any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. And it is they who are the transgressors.

Then they approached one another, blaming each other. They said, "O woe to us; indeed we were transgressors.

Provide a way out

You are to say everything I order you

who is able to build him a house

I have much more to tell you, but now it would be too much for you to bear.

For my sins overwhelm me; like a heavy load, they are too much for me to bear.

Will you be silent and make us suffer more than we can bear?

Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality

Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance

Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds

And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples

Turn your eyes away from me, for they have overcome me

The one overcoming will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

Patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

Is there a man here who is afraid and fainthearted? He should go back home; otherwise his fear may demoralize his comrades as well.

We seized them with poverty and hardship that perhaps they might humble themselves

With hardship ease

Restrain anger

Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them

And when you travel throughout the land, there is no blame upon you for shortening the prayer, [especially] if you fear that those who disbelieve may disrupt [or attack] you. Indeed, the disbelievers are ever to you a clear enemy.

Satan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is the disbelievers' ally today

who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists

And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

And all the trees said to a bramble: "You reign over us!"

You will sweat all your life to earn a living; you were made out of soil, and you will once again turn into soil.

There is hope, however, for anyone who is among the living; for even a live dog is better than a dead lion.

Would you exchange what is better for what is less?

So his example is like that of the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him, he [still] pants. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs. So relate the stories that perhaps they will give thought.

I am worn out and weak, moaning and in distress

My tears have been food for me by day and by night, while they have been saying to me every day, "Where is your God?"

I sigh when food is put before me, and my groans pour out like water.

You shall not fear other gods, nor bow down to them nor serve them nor sacrifice to them

gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit

We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits

gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle

Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with weariness and suffering." 'Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink'

But as for those with sickness in their hearts, it has increased them only in wickedness upon their wickedness, and they die as disbelievers.

[And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial.

And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."

And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith].

Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire. He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know."

wherein you will abide eternally. That is what is the great attainment

He details the signs

A slave does not live in the house forever. A son remains forever.

The one believing in the Son has eternal life, but the one not obeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

But cowards, traitors, perverts, murderers, the immoral, those who practice magic, those who worship idols, and all liars—the place for them is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

nor will they steal, nor will they commit unlawful sexual intercourse, nor will they kill their children, nor will they bring forth a slander they have invented between their arms and legs, nor will they disobey you in what is right

accept their pledge and ask forgiveness for them

What they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is.

Each one betrays his friend; no one tells the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they wear themselves out committing iniquity.

They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them

And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve

those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that

And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter.

most of them do not use reason

That afterwards their children might learn to fight with their enemies, and to be trained up to war

you who call on Yahweh, take no rest

Trade till I come

And there is not for them besides Him any patron.

Because there is no righteousness in their mouths, but evil is within them, and their throats are like opened tombs and their tongues subvert

those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil

And I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days three hundred and ninety days: and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk,

the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone

Have you killed a pure soul for other than [having killed] a soul?

He was created from a fluid

wretched is the resting place. This - so let them taste it - is scalding water

not one of you would have been pure

Because we have prepared our heart to pray to LORD JEHOVAH, God of our fathers, and the holy place is no purer than we are!

Summary:

the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children

guard your heart, glean from rich fields, and drink water from your own well

only accepts from the righteous

Walk, Stretch, Run. Feed yourself like you would your own children. Train every body part to be ready for whatever, whenever, wherever.

Chronic stress causes the muscles in the body to be in a more or less constant state of guardedness.

On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated;

And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth

I speak to them in parables

And the parable of those who spend their possessions out of a longing to please God, and out of their own inner certainty, is that of a garden on high, fertile ground: a rainstorm smites it, and thereupon it brings forth its fruit twofold; and if no rainstorm smites it, soft rain [falls upon it]. And God sees all that you do

Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit? But he is afflicted with old age and has weak offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

And he shall not acquire many wives for himself, lest his heart turn away, nor shall he acquire for himself excessive silver and gold.

Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.

Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to break the chains of wickedness, to untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and tear off every yoke?

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

slapped her own face

Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant

do you submit to the one who is subject to you and to him who embezzles you and to him who takes from you and to him who exalts himself over you and to him who strikes you on your face

Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.

I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts.

Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here for no other purpose than to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment.

what you have trained

I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel;

Yall aint never heard my cries now you wonder why I want you to die

But if I tear down something and then build it again, I prove that I was wrong at first.

And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing.

Exercise to feel confident and prevent disease. Your desk job is destroying your body and ruining your health.

Or those eighteen upon whom the tower of Shilokha fell and killed them; do you think that they were sinners more so than all the children of men

I beat my body and bring it into submission

Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering

be still, to thee shall be his submission, and thou shalt rule over him.

be in the creation

judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in submission.

Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled

take us out of this city

Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way

Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.

But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent [person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin.

My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.

Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud.

The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better

My mercy encompasses all things

do not give the weak-minded your property,

justice, mercy, trust

First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside may be clean too

will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, "There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned."

Aaron had stripped them by occasion of the shame of the filth, and had set them naked among their enemies

preached to those souls who were held in Sheol

no injustice to the worlds

O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another].

whoever does that in aggression and injustice - then We will drive him into a Fire.

And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing

But he who does of righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation.

an injustice and a lie

selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.

Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me

This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today!

Property that comes by evil will decrease

no man shall see as I have seen

judge men, that those who do not see may see, and that those who do see may become blind.

Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us.

Whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul. And whoever errs only errs against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And never would We punish until We sent a messenger.
