As part of the Experimentation Phase, extensive testing provides a foundation for validating the hypotheses of the living lab process. The test setup is designed to capture information for each hypothesis and is subsequently outlined.
Hypothesis 1
Use of IoT devices in the incumbent delivery service enables end-to-end delivery experience with replicator effect
Technical Validation of Architecture to identify existing media breaks (Fleisch):
- The technical validation of architecture will be conducted by the living lab organizers with strong expertise in IT- Development, Network Architecture, and Cloud Services. Based on the IoT Architecture and Communication Behavior a qualitative analysis will provide insights in the form of a feasibility study.
Survey of Test Lab participants:
-
The survey assesses the experience of participants using the replicator from a consumer perspective. The NPS question asked, "How likely do you perceive Come'N'Eat delivery to fulfill a food replicator value proposition?"
-
Create new food delivery experience, that brings food to your table at home
-
Personalized user profiles with individual meal suggestions and user experience
-
Hypothesis 2
Voice Assistant coordinates deliverer for meal placement and leaving the flat
Number of successful meal placement by test deliverer
- In virtual assistant interaction five participants test to receive guidance to access a flat, find information about where to place a meal and to leave the flat by closing it afterward.
NPS of test deliverer
- The survey assesses the experience of participants delivering the food. The NPS question asked, "How likely do you perceive the Come'N'Eat delivery service to enable food delivery to the customer's table?"
Qualitative Evaluation of Dialogues
- Analyzing conversation without successful outcome by means of dead ends
