Overview

Concentrates on producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay exclusively from estate-grown grapes.

1996: Began with 3 acres of Pinot Noir.

1999: Winery established.

Expanded to 14 acres of Pinot Noir and 1 acre of Chardonnay in Corralitos. Also sources from Monterey vineyards.

Winemaking Philosophy

"Extreme minimal intervention" approach. The Schultze family aims to "create wines which elegantly reflect their terroir — wines with balance, complexity and harmony." Minimal manipulation in the winery allows vineyards to express themselves naturally.

Son Spencer Schultze has taken over winemaking duties from founder Jim Schultze.

Three locations (reservations highly recommended):
