Spring Ridge Vineyard

Santa Cruz Mountains AVA

Owner: Dr Kirk Neely and Holly Myers. Size: About 10 acres Varietals: 7.5 acres Chardonnay, 2.5 acres Pinot Noir

The vineyard is divided into several blocks, each with distinct microclimates. Bee Block, Ampitheater Block (named because of its bowl-like shape) and Home Block are planted to Chardonnay. Hidden Block (so named because it can't be seen from the road) and Picnic block are planted to Pinot Noir. Picnic Block was previously planted with Gewurztraminer, which was sold to Bargetto, but has now been grafted to Pinot clone 777.
