History

Stephen Storrs and Pamela Bianchini-Storrs both trained as winemakers at UC Davis. They worked and consulted for several wineries prior to starting their own, including Domaine Chandon, Felton Empire Vineyards, and Almaden.

1988: First vintage of Storrs Winery. From the start, they focused on the Santa Cruz Mountains, specializing in cool-climate, marine-influenced Burgundian varietals (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir).

2001: Purchased 60 acres in the Pleasant Valley district of Corralitos in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

2007: Established estate vineyard (Hidden Springs).

2012: Broke ground for construction of eco-friendly winery on site of a former quarry discovered on their property.

2018: New winery and tasting room in Corralitos opened to the public.

Family-owned and operated, specializing in handcrafted wines from sustainably and organically farmed vineyards.

Wines

Produces handcrafted wines primarily from Santa Cruz Mountains vineyards, with some from Santa Clara Valley and San Francisco Bay appellations.
