Spring Ridge Vineyard in Portola Valley was formerly the estate vineyard for Varner Wine. Dr. Kirk Neely owns the vineyard.

The vineyard is divided into multiple blocks, each with distinct characteristics:

Wine Production
Varner Wine was the primary producer using Spring Ridge fruit but no longer makes Santa Cruz Mountains wines from this vineyard.
Historical note: Varner's "Spring Ridge" second label released a Chardonnay in 2001 made from younger estate grapes from the Bee Block.
