In 2005 retired biochemists Noël and Bill planted a 1/2 acre of Cabernet Sauvignon with some Cabernet Franc and Merlot at their home on Monte Bello Road. They also source Syrah from Santa Clara Valley, as well as Cabernet from neighbouring vineyards and from Napa Valley. Their first release is expected in 2010
