Engineer John and teacher Marie Pinder began making wine at home in the late 1990s. Eventually the hobby reached the point where they decided to open a commercial winery in downtown Campbell. They began with Zinfandel and have since expanded to a wide range of wines with fruit sourced from all over the state.

Pinder's facility also hosts Stroth-Hall Cellars,Traviesoand Heart's Fire Wineryunder the banner of Campbell Winemakers Studio.
