Status: Unknown - Website inactive. Ownership uncertain post-2006.
1913: Founded as Colombano Winery by Camillo Colombano in Morgan Hill with 80 acres of vines, focusing on Barbera and Italian varietals.
1945: Purchased by John and Eda Pedrizzetti. Winery began to grow with help from Mike Bo of San Martin Winery.
Late 1940s: Son Ed Pedrizzetti and wife Phyllis took over operations.
1968: Opened tasting room off Burnett Avenue.
1979: Heavy frost severely damaged vineyards. Winery ceased farming, sold vineyards, began purchasing grapes from other growers.
Peak production: 50,000 cases annually.
1996: Catastrophic fire destroyed winery. Rebuilt at cost exceeding $2 million. Production reduced to 2,000 cases.
2006: Pedrizzetti family sold winery and retired to Jackson, Montana. New owner Mike Sempagnaro renamed it Morgan Hill Cellars.
