History
Don Perrucci had been a fruit farmer in the Santa Clara Valley prior to moving to Los Gatos in the 1970s. His sons Andy and Greg had chosen more high-tech careers; Andy was literally a rocket scientist, while Greg had worked in business administration. In the mid 1990s the brothers decided to plant grape vines on their father's estate. It went without saying that Cabernet Sauvignon would be the main grape but in keeping with their Italian heritage they also planted Sangiovese. In the years since, they have taken over several small vineyards nearby increasing their varietal diversity with Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. They also purchase Merlot, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir on occasion from the award winning Regan Vineyard.
The brothers also operate a vineyard consultancy business and a mobile bottling service.
