History

Status: CLOSING - Ceased production, Wine Cubby open through end of April 2025

Established 2016 by winemaker Megan Bell. Low-intervention wines using grapes from underrepresented regions, vineyards, and varietals. 10 years of operation (2016-2025).

The tasting room, known as "Margins Wine Cubby", is a very compact, community-feel space in Santa Cruz. Known for skin contact Chenin Blanc (orange wine).

Focused on organic and regenerative farming, equity and inclusion in wine industry through board work with The Vinguard, collaborative workplace culture.

First wines: 2017 Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Franc, Clarksburg Chenin Blanc.
