Finley Vineyard

Finley Vineyard is part of the Cooper-Garrod estate in Cupertino, planted in 1998 in the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA.

Vineyard

The vineyard is dry-farmed and grows Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, and Viognier. Grapes from Finley Vineyard are often blended with fruit from Gravel Ridge Vineyard for Cooper-Garrod's estate wines.

Wines

Cooper-Garrod produces both blended estate wines and single-vineyard wines from Finley Vineyard:

• Chardonnay - matured 10 months in 1/3 new French oak
• Merlot - single-vineyard bottling
• Syrah - single-vineyard bottling

The wines exhibit a restrained style typical of the Santa Cruz Mountains region.

Winemaker

Trevor Garrod, Jan Garrod's son, serves as winemaker and ranch yard foreman at Cooper-Garrod.
