History

Started in a San Francisco garage in 2006, founded officially in April 2008 by Dan Schaaf and Aaron Olson, two wine-addicted ex-punks. Now operates from Punk Dog Wineries facilities in Napa's River East Neighborhood.

Philosophy

Natural, minimalist wines. Native fermentation with indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfites, neutral oak or stainless steel aging, ambient temperatures. Philosophy is to let raw materials from vineyards shine, embracing differences between sites and vintages.
