History
Marie Temple comes from a family of grape growers in Washington's Yakima Valley. In 1977 she and her husband Bill began growing Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in their vineyard in Monterey County, sharing the wine with friends. Following Bill's retirement as an insurance broker in 2005 they decided to pursue their dream of becoming professional vintners.
Chateau Marie Antoinette has a portfolio of labels targeted at the Latino, Asian and Gay & Lesbian; Hacienda de Santa Maria, Ming Wine Dynasty and Rainbow Bridge. All grapes come from Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties.
