Firefly Luciferin PC software comes with installers for Windows (.exe) and Linux (.deb or .rpm).

You can download the latest installers from the release page:

Alternatively, if you’re on Windows, you can install Firefly Luciferin using Windows Package Manager.

winget install luciferin

If you are running Linux, additional installation options are available:

Due to dependencies, using sandboxed versions like Flatpak or Snap is recommended on Linux.

NOTE: Arch Linux AUR package is built from official sources but it's not an official supported package.

Glow Worm Luciferin Firmware

The firmware installation is straightforward:

  • Use the
    Web Installer
    for a simple and guided setup.
  • Alternatively, download the firmware from here and flash it with your preferred tool.

The web installer is recommended for most users as it automatically configures your microcontroller and reduces the chance of errors.
