LEDs can be grouped together, which is especially useful when you have a LED strip with a very high number of LEDs.

Luciferin provides a dynamically generated test image to help you verify the LED positioning behind your monitor.

No LED grouping

The following example shows the test image with no LED grouping applied:

Grouping six LEDs

This example shows the result when six LEDs are grouped together:

LED grouping helps:

  • Reduce visual noise caused by very dense LED strips
  • Improve color uniformity
  • Reduce processing load when using a large number of LEDs
