9. Manually create user,group and silently install OS and database in a machine - sayanbhattacharya1234/Oracle_DBA GitHub Wiki
First we have to make a machine and complete install of OS.
machine created now installing OS part.
Set date and time , software selection, installation destination
and begin install ,then set root password and create user and wait...
then reboot it and continue >
ABC is here now click on not listed and login with root then goto oracle virtual box -> device menu -> shared folder -> settings
then add software folder then click check box auto mount and make machine permanent then OK also OK
then again go device - > shared clipboard and drag anddrop option do bidirectional and then go cd image and click run and wait...
login with root and open a terminal -> goto network button and wired on
Now we have going to install prereposetory with yum manually and also we create user ,locations , group manually and then silently we install the database.
Steps:
yum install -y \
binutils \
gcc \
gcc-c++ \
glibc \
glibc-devel \
ksh \
libaio \
libaio-devel \
libgcc \
libstdc++ \
libstdc++-devel \
make \
sysstat \
unixODBC \
unixODBC-devel \
compat-libcap1 \
compat-libstdc++-33
after that we create a user group and user manually
groupadd oinstall
groupadd dba
groupadd oper
useradd -g oinstall -G dba,oper oracle
passwd oracle
for change the user password ' here passwd oracle' here user and password both are oracle.
the password will be 'oracle' here.
now open a file location then create the path
command is ' vi /etc/sysctl.conf ' open and then paste this
oracle soft nofile 1024
oracle hard nofile 65536
oracle soft nproc 2047
oracle hard nproc 16384
applmgr soft nofile 1024
applmgr hard nofile 65536
save and exit
then open a file location ' vi /etc/selinux/config' and make change in SELINUX enforcing to "permissive".
then directory structure by ' mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/product/19.0.0/dbhome_1 ' open that location and unzip the linux file here 'unzip /media/sf_Software/LINUX.X64_193000_db_home.zip' and wait for unzip
when we pre install of softwares , we need some vln files . so that we could match the kernal of the OS.
Oracle is the application for that kernal packages have to changes , that packages are been installed by yum server through input.
.
Now we have to change the ownership of this dir. ' chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01 ' and ' chmod -R 755 /u01' and then restart it and login with oracle user .
open a terminal and open the u01/.../dbhome_1 path and export the oracle Home,Base ,oracle inventory ,hostname. and
