Experience - savvato-software/all_docs GitHub Wiki
An experience is like a review on Yelp. It can be either positive or negative. The idea is that you would be able to search your network to see what experiences others have had with a given entity. For the moment, we are not going to focus on this functionality. Instead you would just look for entities which have a given strength of tribal membership.

Negative Experiences
A neighbor had a bad experience with someone fixing their car.
We need a way to identify that someone... address, lat long, perhaps they are in our network, something. but assuming we have it...
the neighbor would create a post about their experience, mark it negatively, and send some amount of money to show they are serious.
Then other people who were connected to them would one day, say hey I am thinking of doing business with this person. what does my network think of them?
and they would ping their network, see X amount of people within X steps of you have had interactions with this business. Y of them
considered it a good experience, and posted bonds worth Y$ and Z of them considered the experience bad, and posted Z$ bonds.
Going down the negative path, not only could people indicate negatives with businesses, but other people.. why not, right? And then people would be able to see what other folks said about them, and that could cause people to be less honest by not documenting these personal negative reactions, and may cause real world increasingly negative effects when people do see what others said about them.. and on a personal level, something bad for one person doesn't mean it would be bad for you, or maybe it would.. I dunno.. it's just not a path that is well defined and apparently beneficial as the positive path. We've got enough interesting stuff to worry about and think about on the positive path.
This is a way of searching that we do not want to implement either. The way we want to do it is that "I am looking for these attributes", so we send out a ping with those attributes as part of the query, and we get back entities which have those attributes. This is as opposed to "I want to know what my network or person X thinks about this person."
