Generate a vaild but unregistered serial

  • Generate serials with GenSMBIOS

     git clone https://github.com/corpnewt/GenSMBIOS
 cd GenSMBIOS
 chmod +x GenSMBIOS.command

  • Double click GenSMBIOS.command to run, click 1 to install macserials

  • then select 3. Generate SMBIOS, and enter iMac19,1

  • Vaildate the Serial on Check Coverage.

  • Continue if you get a vaild serial that hasn't been registered.

Patching the serial in your config.plist

  • Modify your /EFI/OC/config.plist with PlistEdit Pro or ProperTree

  • Convert the macserial outputs by following the underneath rules and add them into /Root/PlatformInfo/Generic/

Serial = SystemSerialNumber
Board Serial = MLB
SmUUID = SystemUUID
