Font Examples
This page is intended to give new letterers a frame of reference for what dialogue fonts are commonly used in localized manga. This isn't a recommendation to use any specific font, and it's by no means an exhaustive list of fonts suitable for use in comics.
Please note that different releases of series may use different fonts than listed in these examples. Prices are listed as of April 2021.

Wild Words
Probably the most prolific font used in localized manga.

WhizBang
The oldest comic book font. There are a lot of known issues with this font.

Samaritan Tall
A condensed version of Samaritan, which compliments many art styles. This font has risen in popularity recently.
