Flashing the snesCIC - sanni/cartreader GitHub Wiki
The PIC12F629 needs to be flashed with the snescic-lock-resync.hex before soldering it to the PIC_adapter PCB if you want to dump SA1 SNES games. The PIC_adapter PCB has footprints for both the SMD and DIP version.
(If the PIC12F629 is out of stock there is an alternative footprint for the PIC16F630 that needs to be flashed with the supercic-lock_p16F630.hex)
Either buy a preprogrammed PIC
The easiest way would be to buy the PIC12F629 and the EEprom programming service from buyicnow and send them the snescic-lock-resync.hex file via email to [email protected] and ask them to flash the chip for you.
Or programm it yourself with a PIC programmer
