Candelabra does not fix anything.

It will simply provide a list of what needs to be fixed. The list can be formatted in several different ways with the output flag. Ultimately it is up to a developer to make changes.

Candelabra does not protect you.

It may make you feel more confident and secure, but a website truly designed for everyone has considerable thought put into every image alt and every aria-label. You can carelessly add a11y-friendly attributes to elements to trick a robot, but the actual people – for whom you make these changes – will continue to be left behind.
