Simulation Mode

Simulation mode is a useful tool to analyze how packets travel through a network. For example, through being a server the different types of packets such as UDP and HTTP are shown in the simulation window. These provide information about destination and osi layer functionality.

Save Config on routers

Enter router config and click save NVRAM

Things to remember about Packet Tracer

• Always double check ip addresses
• Be careful about using auto connect cables
• Packet Tracer saves are not compatible with other version of Packet tracer
