6.1 Conclusion

”Swaraksha”, the self-help device has been implemented focusing on the increasing violence against women. This system is designed to protect the women and help them in dangerous situations by providing the functionalities to call for help and alert the surrounding people. The major benefit of this device is it not only provides security but also provides safety by allowing women to self-defend themselves. It has been developed as an idea to make the security device more portable and comfortable. This system was designed after reference to the already implemented system. The device provides protection even when the victim is not able to press the security button and therefore does not compromise in its functionality of protecting the woman in need. Hence this device shall prove to be useful in preventing unfortunate incidents and violence against women. Therefore the crimes against women can be reduced using the prototype model.

6.2 Future scope

The project can be expanded to call multiple emergency numbers at a time and reach the nearest helpline numbers to call for quick help. The device size can be further reduced by removing the GSM and GPS modules. The GSM and GPS modules inbuilt in the smartphones can be used so that it will enable the victim to conceal the device from the victim and can easily access the emergency button. The device can be powered using a solar cell instead of a battery. It can then be used 24/7 and there would be no need to replace the battery. The device can also include a smart camera and voice recorder module to recognize the culprit and serve as identification of the attacker and can be used in a court of law. 5.The device can also include an inbuilt voice recognizer module using which the data can be transferred to the nearby police station.GPS along with GSM can be used to find the nearest Police station and to send the audio clip to uncover the culprit.
