Coming up with an idea for an application seems like it would be the hardest part of the project, but it actually is not. The idea is simple, but execution is the real key to success. So, for me to be successful, I knew I needed the help of something that would assist me in the visual ideas I had for my final project. Fluid UI was the perfect source of that assistance.
Fluid UI is a versatile application that allowed me to create static pages to visualize my mobile application. With so many ideas floating around in my mind, I needed an outlet to keep and store ideas for different pages, and Fluid UI did just that. Not only did it allow me to create pages, it also allowed me to preview them on my phone as if I was actually using the app. And to clear the minds of teachers who might think that this does the project for someone, Fluid UI is not at all functional. I am required to code everything separately, which after all is the point of doing this project.
With customizable buttons, charts, tables, data centers, and many more, Fluid UI combined complex ideas into an easy-to-use website that maximized the efficiency in which my group began to work with when we started to code. Although our app did not turn out identical to the prototype that we created on Fluid UI, I feel that it is imperative that students have a way to visualize their application before actually beginning to code it. Whether it be drawing or another application, I know that visualizing before coding will make the final product much better. Personally, I suggest using Fluid UI to create this prototype, as I feel it is the most useful out of the ones I have used in the past.
