👨‍💻 Position Overview

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Backend Developer (VIE) to join our nimble and ambitious engineering team. You’ll work directly with our CTO, helping to evolve our backend systems and scale our APIs as we onboard more clients and expand internationally.

We use Ruby seriously. If metaprogramming doesn’t scare you, and you love making code expressive and DRY—you’re going to love it here.

💡 Bonus: If you’ve ever touched Golang or are curious about serverless architecture, even better—we’re migrating our most demanding endpoints into high-performance, serverless Go functions.

🛠️ Skills

  • 2+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Deep understanding of Ruby and comfort with metaprogramming.
  • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and complex backend logic.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, ActiveRecord, and background jobs (Sidekiq).
  • Comfortable working with RSpec and TDD practices.
  • Bonus: Exposure to Golang or serverless architecture.
  • Experience using Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable code and developer productivity.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Contribute to our internal libraries and shared codebase (yes, it’s a metaprogramming playground).
  • Help scale our APIs and handle growing traffic with robust logic.
  • Collaborate with product, frontend, and platform teams to ship impactful features.
  • Take part in our transition to event-driven and serverless architecture.
  • Learn, experiment, and share—every line of code counts.
