Frame Teleporter - rwtema/FunkyLocomotion GitHub Wiki
!!! These observations need more verification as this is only what I could find out with quick experimentation. !!!
Frame teleporters can teleport non-entity blocks from one frame teleporter to another under the following conditions:
- They can only transport blocks connected to its coloured side.
- If not attached to a frame block, only one block can be teleported.
- Several frames can be stacked to teleport a large amount of blocks.
- You can only add blocks to one of the teleporters. The other teleporter must be free from any obstruction that would intersect with the blocks being teleported.
- Both teleporters must have enough RF energy.
The frame teleporters will only work if paired, and crafting a teleporter will give you 2 teleporters that are already paired to each other. Using /give
or any equivalent to make a frame teleporter and attempting to put it down will result in the following messages:
Teleporter doesn't have an ID
Craft with a second teleporter to assign one
You can have the teleporters face different directions (e.g. one facing top, and the other facing west) as long as there are no obstructions or issues, such as where the frame would 'stick' to one side of the ground it would be teleported to. Close the side of the frame that would lie on the ground, and the teleportation should work.
How to activate the teleporters
To activate, use a redstone signal on the teleporter connected to the blocks you want to move. Using a redstone signal on the teleporter without the blocks will not activate the teleportation process.
