Getting the latest 64-bit Java and a clean executable file

If you're having issues with stuttering or lower than expected framerate, you'll need to make sure that your Java installation and OSBuddy client is completely up to date.

OSBuddy also handles Java for you, but it might be outdated. To force an update you need to download a fresh copy of OSBuddy64.exe and delete the Java installations handled by OSBuddy.

First, close any other open Runescape clients, then delete the OSBuddy64.exe that you use to launch OSBuddy with. Head to the OSBuddy website and download a fresh copy.

Next, open the install directory as shown in the image below and close the OSBuddy client again!

In the folder you just opened, select and delete the java and java64 folders (if they're not there for some reason, don't worry.)
