Hello and Welcome to Monday!

Today's update is kinda big ... we have overhauled the macro edit interface!

You will still use your macros the same way you always have.

Simply use the message command: sage! macro list Our new custom form allows you to navigate between the different tiers fo macros and categories for each tier (see below). When creating or editing macros, you will be presented with a popup/modal to edit your macro in.

Macros are now stored at various tiers (levels of heirarchy if you will). When you load your macro list, you will first be presented with the tier of Macro you wish to look at. We have built a custom form to let you choose where to save your macros:

• Character Macros
  • You can store macros specific to characters with those characters!
• User Macros
  • These are macros that go everywhere with you (all your current macros)
• Game Macros
  • These are macros specific to a Game, usable by all GMs/Players!
• Server Macros
  • These are macros shared by an entire Server!
• Global Macros
  • Yup, we will be sharing some macros with you all :)
  • These are not for you to edit, but to see what we have available.

While you can use your own macros everywhere, and you can now get GMs/Admins to set macros for Games and Servers, we know folks will still want to share macros. Each "Macro Details" view has a "Share" section that anybody can use to copy a macro and paste it as a message/command to RPG Sage to get their own copy of that same macro without needing to go through the process of opening their macro list and creating a new one.

We really hope you like the forms control, because we hope to implement forms like it for all our tools/commands This is a pretty big change in how we are managing things with RPG Sage, and we can only do so much testing on our own.
