Rotorflight needs Your Help!

There are many features that are only partially tested, or not at all :-(

Here's a list of features that should be tested sooner than later.

  • Receivers
    • Tested: FrSky S.Bus, FrSky F.PORT, CRSF
  • Traditional ESCs
    • Airplane or helicopter ESCs with PWM input
    • Testing needed with RPM sensor and governor
  • Other DShot capable ESCs
    • AM32, APD, etc.
  • Failsafe
    • totally untested - somebody should have a close look!
  • All "Modes"
  • All "Adjustments"
  • 6G modes
    • ANGLE mode
    • HORIZON mode
    • ACRO TRAINER mode
  • PASSTHRU Mode (Not GOV!)
    • Disables Roll&Pitch stabilization = flybar mode
  • Governor
    • Parameters (check that all of them are working as expected)
    • Governor Tuning (trying to tune it for different size helis)
    • Test RPM sensor as RPM input (aka Freq sensor)
    • Test KISS telemetry as RPM input (requires fine tuning)
  • GPS (overall functionality)
