Preferences

The refreshing of data is based upon the user's preferences and the automatic computing setting

Folio, Portfolio with P&L, Portfolio without P&L

With each automatic computation (which recalculates the positions and portfolio based on changing market data) the values are sent to the FusionLink clients.

If FusionLink is in Automatic mode, "Automatic" is displayed on the Caption Bar.

Quotation, Nothing

Values are only sent to FusionLink clients when the user presses F9 and forces a recalculation of their portfolio.

If FusionLink is in F9 mode, "On F9" is displayed on the Caption Bar.

Full Calculation

With all settings, performing a full computation (F9) will cause all subscribed portfolios to re-calculate and refresh. So even if the open window is only for a certain portfolio, a F9 will compute all portfolios that are subscribed from FusionLink clients.

User columns

Depending on the options selected in a User Column definition, User columns may refresh in the client even though the Automatic Computing options are set ot Quotation or Nothing. This is a inconsistancy in the FusionInvest client to be aware of. Even with this, FusionLink will always respect the global "Automatic Computing" preference.
